The Village of Swanton is utilizing a mass notification system called CivicReady that is available through Fulton County Government’s website. This system will allow the Village of Swanton, and other Fulton County communities and agencies, to send out urgent notifications, instructions, warnings and other notices to subscribed citizens through email, text and/or phone call.
In the event of a local emergency, citizens subscribed to CivicReady will benefit from important information and instruction through their preferred notification channel.
Initially, the Village of Swanton used the CivicReady system for boil advisories and for general notices to the community. In 2021, the Village added Infrastructure Project notifications to the groups.

The quickest way to sign up is through Text to Join. Text 30890, and in the message type Join SwantonGeneral and/or Join SwantonBoil and/or Join SwantonProjects
NOTE: It is case sensitive and there needs to be a space between Join and the keyword.
