The Fiscal Officers meets with Division Heads quarterly to review appropriations and revenue
In September/October of each year a preliminary budget is presented to the Finance Committee
A temporary budget is approved no later than December 31 of each year
Final appropriations (what is approved to spend by Council) must be submitted to the State of Ohio no later than March 31 of each year. The budget formulation process begins in the summer prior to submittal.
