Rain rain go away! With over 4 inches of rain in just over 24 hours, AI Creek has flooded Memorial Park. All entrances to the Park will be closed until further notice.

Please remember the Administration Office at the Municipal Building will be closed on Thursday September 23 due to Staff Training.

The Village of Swanton will provide a bulk drop off day for its residents on Saturday September 18, 2021; identification and proof of residency will be required. The Village of Swanton is excited to announce a Sidewalk Replacement Grant Program for the purpose of maintaining and replacing sidewalks within the right-of-way. The regular maintenance of sidewalks will provide safe conditions for pedestrians as well as improving overall aesthetics. This program was inaugurated in 2021. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday September 15 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Swanton Community Center. This meeting will provide information on the upcoming Fire Levy for Fulton Township residents. As the boundaries of the Village of Swanton are not conformed, there are residents within the Village of Swanton which also reside within Fulton Township (north of Dodge Street).

There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday September 8 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Swanton Community Center. This meeting will provide an overview of the Project 8 & 9 Sewer Separation Project which centers around Metta, W. Garfield, West, Allen, and Sanderson.
